Being a volunteer for Seafarers UK can take a number of different forms.

Whether you’re interested in joining our head office team in a required volunteer role, representing us at local events by being on a stand and providing information to the public, joining a local volunteer group to help organise various fundraising events during the year, being a general supporter or cheerer at our challenge events, or simply fundraising for us by organising your own event, Seafarers UK appreciates any time you can spare to support our vital work.

Our volunteers are active across the UK with a number of local fundraising activities being managed by regional committees, and play a key part in our fundraising, awareness-raising and campaigning work.

If you have a few hours to spare each week, or on an occasional basis, and are interested in becoming a volunteer, please contact seafarers@seafarers.uk if you live in England or Wales, or John Hood on 07885 555760 or email john.hood@seafarers.uk if you live in Scotland.
