Become a corporate supporter

As a grant-giving charity, Seafarers UK invests funds with the sole aim of having a positive impact and  progressive change in the lives of people working in the maritime, fishing and naval defence sectors.

Seafarers UK enjoys a number of Corporate Partnerships with companies working across all the maritime sectors we support. These partnerships help us raise vital funds that are channelled to provide assistance to seafarers and their families, dependants and communities. Seafarers UK’s Corporate Partnerships ensure that we are able to achieve positive impacts with all the projects and front-line charities we fund.

Seafarers UK’s ethos as a charity is to provide support where the need is greatest.

  • Lifelines for Lifetimes

We fund front line charities helping Seafarers, veterans & their families, dependants and communities nationally and internationally.

  • Education & Training

We fund projects that provide education & training and advice for people to prepare for a career at sea.

  • Maritime Charities

We support the promotion of the efficiency and effectiveness of the whole maritime charitable sector.

  • Safety at Sea

Seafarers UK campaigns and promotes projects that highlight the importance of safety at sea.

Getting your company involved

Charity of the Year

Many companies are discovering the benefits of working with Seafarers UK, helping to make a positive impact in the lives of seafarers and the communities and families that depend on them.

By nominating Seafarers UK as your Charity of the year, we will work with you and your colleagues to deliver a tailor-made CSR solution that will engage your employees whilst raising much needed funds for Seafarers UK.  We can help you by promoting and endorsing your fundraising events that motivate & inspire your staff and promote the good work that you will be involved in.

You can demonstrate your commitment to people working in the maritime industry by supporting one of Seafarers UK’s sponsorship opportunities. Sponsoring a Seafarers UK event, sports challenge or project will help align your company’s CSR values with one of the UK’s  leading cross-sector, grant-giving maritime charity, increase your brand exposure and engage with new audiences.

Strategic Partnerships

Strategic partnerships are an exciting way to link Seafarers UK with your company’s Corporate Social Responsibility’s long term objectives. We will work with you to understand your main aims in supporting our projects and to develop long term partnership strategies to realise these goals.

Give as you earn

Payroll Giving – or ‘Give As You Earn’ – means that your employees can donate regular sums that over time will make a real impact on the work that Seafarers UK does to support its beneficiaries the whole year round.

Payroll Giving is a fantastic way for businesses large and small to demonstrate social responsibility and a commitment to good causes in their local community and beyond while engaging their employees.

It is quick to set up and simple to manage. Payroll Giving is one of the easiest ways to support us as a charity and it is tax free if you are a UK taxpayer. Please contact Seafarers UK for more details on how you can make this possible for your staff.

Team Building Events

With a packed calendar of events ranging from cycle rides, treks and marathons, there are plenty of opportunities to get involved with our annual challenge events. Fundraising for an event is a great way to get your employees involved in team building activities whilst raising money for Seafarers UK. We can also help you to run bespoke events just for your company –  what about wine tasting for colleagues and clients? Or a five-a-side football tournament to get staff fit while having fun and raising money for Seafarers UK?

Seafarers UK would be delighted to work with you and your company

to create a tailored CSR programme that can include fundraising & teambuilding events that will engage your employees whilst raising money.
