Seafarers UK Bristol Centenary Dinner

On 12 July, Commodore Gerald Wood RD* RNR and his committee hosted a dinner at the Bristol Mansion House to celebrate Seafarers UK’s Centenary.  Over 80 guests attended this event at which Admiral The Right Hon The Lord West of Spithead proposed the toast “Seafarers UK and the next 100 years of service to the seafaring community”.

The Lord Lieutenant of the County and City of Bristol and the Lord Mayor of Bristol were also in attendance.  Excellent music was provided during dinner by musicians of the Royal Marines Band CTC Lympstone.
