Seafarers UK to benefit from ongoing Seatrade Awards charity partnership
Entries are open until 1 March for the 31st edition of the prestigious Seatrade Awards, which this year return to London’s iconic Guildhall and will include a parliamentary-style debate for all interested attendees, followed by a reception and lavish dinner.
Judged by an expert panel of industry thought-leaders, the Seatrade Awards give businesses the chance to tell their success stories to a global audience, regardless of size, through the maritime and shipping industry’s most prestigious honours programme.
Chris Hayman, Chairman of Seatrade, said: ‘The 2019 Seatrade Awards offer a global platform for companies achieving excellence in the shipping and maritime industries to come together to inspire the markets with their pioneering spirit. The awards provide ever higher benchmarks in recognising achievement in leadership and innovation.’
The Seatrade Awards offer categories that suit companies of all sizes and disciplines such as the Fuel Efficiency Award, right through to the Digital Technology Award. This year’s programme also introduces a new category – Integration of Women in the Maritime Sector – which recognises the inspirational leadership and achievements of the industry’s leading women.
Bob Jaques, Editor, Seatrade Maritime Review, fellow organisers of the awards added: ‘Following on from last year’s successful awards ceremony, we look forward to continue recognising and celebrating flourishing companies of all shapes and sizes from across the globe, which are helping drive growth for the maritime and shipping sectors.’
Nominations for the Seatrade Awards close on Friday 1 March. The shortlist will be announced in April and the winners revealed at a ceremony on the evening of Tuesday 7 May at Guildhall in London.
