London Centenary Celebration Dinner

March 28, 2017

In 2017 Seafarers UK will mark its 100th year by holding a special Centenary Celebration dinner in the City of London.

In doing so, Seafarers UK aims to highlight the debt of gratitude we all owe the generations of seafarers by reflecting upon the sacrifices of the past and by supporting those still serving as well as those training to be our seafarers of the future.

The ‘London Centenary Celebration Dinner’ will take place on 28 March 2017 at Guildhall – exactly one hundred years to the day since the first meeting took place in the City of London to discuss the formation of the charity. The evening will involve a drinks reception, a three course dinner, music by the Band of her Majesty’s Royal Marines, after dinner speeches from two celebrated guests, and a special auction. We are grateful to Ruffer LLP for their sponsorship of the evening.

This flyer has more information about the evening, and you can also download a booking form for details on prices and how to buy tickets or a table.

All funds raised on the night will be in support of Seafarers UK, including its three Centenary projects.
